We here at Tom Scott Honda, serving the greater Boise area, are quite thrilled for the forthcoming 2013 Honda Accord. Honda is redesigning its mid-size sedan as it enters its ninth generation, and the first one recently rolled off the assembly line. That said, Honda employees at the company's Marysville, Ohio plant couldn't be happier.

"Together, we worked hand-in-hand to ensure that every detail of this vehicle could be manufactured with the highest levels of quality," says Mike Fischer, Manufacturing New-Model Leader for the 2013 Accord. "We have been very successful at taking an exciting design concept for the 2013 Accord and turning it into a segment-leading product for our customers."1

Of course, the hard work they put in at the production line isn't the only reason they're proud of the 2013 Honda Accord. Other reasons revolve around the strides Honda has made in terms of design and engineering.

Specifically, while the ninth-generation Accord looks better than ever on the outside, Honda has implemented a new range of Earth Dreams engine and transmission choices under the hood. These options include the typical 4-cylinder/v6 options, but provide greater performance and efficiency than previous models.

Meanwhile, Honda has added a wide range of other new standard and available features to the 2013 Accord. Standard features include an all-new rearview camera, expanded view driver's mirror, Bluetooth connectivity, and multi-information display. Optional features, on the other hand, include LaneWatchä blind-spot display, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning.
