The Honda Odyssey; it's our favorite automaker's flagship minivan, and it is one fantastic model. They don't throw out the word "flagship" for just any old vehicle. So now that the 2014 model year is out, what new things can you expect? For one, the price has only increased by a measly $150; for the quality of new features that nets you, it's definitely a steal. Let's take a look.

Every trim now comes with a new six-speed automatic transmission option - that's right, every. single. trim. The exterior of the minivan has been enhanced and tweaked in key areas, giving off an even bolder, more adventurous aura than before. Inside, the instrument cluster and dash controls have been revised for a modern feel.

The familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine, providing a hefty 248 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, achieves a stellar 19 miles per gallon in the city and 28 on the highway. Finally, perhaps coolest of all, the top-shelf Touring Elite trim allows you the brand-new HondaVac vacuum cleaner system built into the rear cargo area, perfect for cleaning up those little messes inevitably made after the kids' soccer practice or a trip to the beach.

The base model comes in at $28,825 MSRP (not including the $850 destination fee), just barely more than the previous model year. The 2014 Odyssey is definitely one to check out.
