The press can't seem to stop talking about it, and neither can drivers who want to own it. We're talking about the 2016 Honda Civic, of course, the tenth-generation entry in a compact nameplate that's nothing short of legendary. To make sure this car lives up to the high expectations of its anticipators, the Japanese automaker restyled it from the ground up.

The results are--in a word--fantastic. The new Civic offers a more stylish take on the compact's design, with a sporty, fastback roofline and a new unified grille setup reminiscent of the new Accord and CR-V. There have also been changes to the cabin, which offers more upscale materials and the next generation of connectivity features.

More changes await under the hood, where Honda has opted to add two new engines. Base models will come standard with a 2.0L four-cylinder, while others can opt for a 1.5L turbocharged mill. If you're worried this car will lose its fun to drive character, fret not! First drive reports say it's still a bundle of joy to throw around.

When the Civic arrives in mid-November, we'll be sure to let you know! That way you can swing by our Nampa, ID dealership and sign up to take it on a merry little test drive!
